الامام موسى بن جعفر الكاظم عليه السلام
هو موسى بن جعفر الصادق بن محمد الباقر بن علي زين العابدين بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام.
هو الامام السابع من أئمة المذهب الجعفري. ولد يوم الاحد السابع من شهر صفر عام 128 هـ. من القابه: العبد الصابح، زين المجتهدين، الكاظم. عاش مع أبيه عشرين عاماً، وعاش بعده ـ وهي مدة امامته وقيادته ـ خمساً وثلاثين سنة.
عاش في عهد مظلم مليء بالصعوبات فلقد عاصر من الخلفاء العباسيين المنصور والهادي والمهدي وهارون.
قام جهاز هارون الرشيد بالقبض عليه وهو يصلي في مسجد جده ونقله الى السجن مقيداً بالأغلال حيث تنقل بين سجون البصرة وبغداد قرابة 16 عاماً.
وفي يوم 25 رجب عام 183 هـ دس اليه السم في سجن السندي بن شاهك بايعاز من هارون الرشيد وقد أخرجوا جنازته المقدسة بالذل والهوان ، ووضعوها على جسر الرصافة ببغداد: دفن في جانب الكرخ، في مقابر قريش، وقبره اليوم ينافس السماء علواً وازدهاراً، على أعتابه يتكدس الذهب، ويزدحم عنده الألوف من المسلمين من شرق الأرض وغربها لزيارته، والتطواف حول ضريحه الأقدس التي تسمى اليوم بمدينة الكاظمية.
والكاظمية اليوم من اكبر بيوت الله الذي تزوره جميع المسلمين وخصوصا محبي اهل البيت
وحيث سكن محبي اهل البيت مجاور سيدهم الأمام الكاظم والجواد عليهم السلام تبركا بهم الى الله سبحانه وتعالى.
